Saturday, May 13

By 8:00 am                   Water vessels need to be at Phantom Lake Landing by 8:00 am.
7:00 am – 8:30 am     Check-In & Registration (at Memory Lake Park)
8:30 am – 8:45 am     Course Talk (mandatory)
9:00 am                         Race Starts (additional waves to follow every 5 minutes)
9:30 am                         4 Mile Trail Run Race Starts (medals awarded as finishers cross)
11:30 am                        Bikes can be picked up from Transition Zone after the last biker has transitioned to kayak (11-11:30am)
Post-Race                      Award Ceremony & Refreshments
12:30pm                        Award Ceremony

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  • Race Day Check-in will be held  at Memory Lake Park. Pre-registration on Friday night will be held at Crex Meadows Visitor Center. No pre-race dinner this year.
  • At check-in you will receive your course information, bib number & chip for timing, race bag and shirt.
  • During the course talk we will review the course information and safety instructions – to be held  at Memory Lake Park near the flag pole.
  • We will have approximately 4 waves of start times, beginning at 9:00 am with next wave to begin five minutes later. You will find out your wave # during registration (emailed and posted online prior to the event if possible) – designate your preferred wave when you register for the event. If you want to be placed in the same wave as another participant, please let us know by Friday, May 5: info@bikepaddlerun.com
  • Racers will receive free post-race refreshments (may include milk, beer, sport drink, banana, string cheese, protein bar). We will also have a vendor after the race offering lunch items. Some water stations will also include a free energizing drink option and fruit.
